Beginner Pilates Ball Class
If you’re new to moving with the stability ball, or just looking to refine how you move with a large exercise ball, you’re going to love this 20 minute Pilates Ball Workout.
You’ll begin in a seated position on the ball for a short Pilates warmup and move with balance exercises. Then you’ll progress down to the mat to continue to move through an entire full-body Pilates workout using the large exercise ball.
From moving with exercises to strengthen the back, abs, legs, and arms, this is an effective total-body Pilates workout in just over 20 minutes.
This is a slower-paced mat Pilates class so that you have time to feel more stable with the exercise ball.
Here are a few helpful tips:
- Make sure that your ball is fully inflated
- Use a large enough ball. If it’s too small for your height it will make the seated work more difficult. (You can check the sizing guides online)
- Give it time. When working with a stability ball, you will improve with time and consistency.
