Gentle Pilates Stretches
This is a 10 minute Pilates stretching routine where you take the time to find more ease and relaxation. It’s not about pushing yourself. When you find ease and relaxation, this is more beneficial to you and your stretches.
All of the Pilates stretches will be done down on your cushioned Pilates mat. And even though this is a short routine so that you can fit it into your day, you’ll move with simple stretches for beginners that are valuable even if you’ve been moving with Pilates for a long time.
Throughout the class take time to breathe deeply to support this bedtime Pilates stretches. Really these are fabulous to do anytime you want to calm the nervous system and feel better in the body.
TIP: A cushioned mat does provide a more soothing experience compared to a thinner Yoga Mat. You can also use a Yoga Blanket or Blocks for some of the stretches too.
