Pilates Mini Ball Workout

Grab your Mini Ball for this 15-minute Intermediate Pilates Mat Workout. You’ll use a ball to find a deeper engagement to your body with each Pilates exercise for a more at-home Pilates Workout.

Work on your Pilates Flow during this short and effective Pilates Workout. You’ll mobilize the spine, work on strengthening the total body and find new connections by using a Small Ball. The goal is to get a total body workout in when you don’t have much time. As you gently move from one Pilates exercise to another, allow yourself to connect to your breathing and deep core muscles to find your Pilates flow.

You’ll begin this class with a gentle warmup with the Small Ball before progressing to a fun and challenging variation for the Pilates hundred exercise. From there you’ll work on a rotation exercise before focusing on the abs again. Next, you’ll work on Pilates leg exercises before doing some work for the back and shoulders. By this time you’ll be prepared to move with a combo exercise focusing on the Pilates pushup and Thigh Stretch Exercise. Once you complete these, you’ll be on the home stretch of this short total body Pilates workout, getting a little more work for the arms, legs, and abs before ending with some gentle Pilates stretches for the body. 

TIP: You can do this routine with no equipment as well. If you do use a Mini-Ball during this Pilates class, you control how much squeeze you have on the ball. To feel a connection, press lightly in on the ball. If you want more work, press in more firmly.

Recommended Equipment
